Gareth Bowden

Bringing both academic and commercial research experience to FlexMR, Gareth strategically manages our operational team of research experts, insight managers and support agents.

Gareth joined FlexMR after over six years with The Richardson Institute - the oldest peace and conflict research centre in the UK. He brings significant experience with conflict resolution, civil resistance, community engagement and poverty reduction research to the team. Today, he draws on that experience to expertly match team members with research projects as Head of Development and Research for FlexMR.

Gareth is highly analytical, well co-ordinated and seeks to bring out the best in our research teams. He expertly matches team members with research projects and seeks operational success.

An experienced researcher who brings an academic and practical perspective to FlexMR, Gareth has worked on tough challenges facing governments, NGOs and public institutions. Through this, he has developed an analytical mind and keen understanding of how to achieve the best outcomes. As manager of our operational teams, Gareth seeks to bring new opportunties for professional development, help staff build new skills and drive operational excellence across all projects.
